Bulelwa Koyana is the Interim CEO of BPeSA (Business Process enabling South Africa) and is an owner of Lathitha Contact Services that focuses on Contact Centres and Business Processing Outsourcing and she also practices as an Executive Coach with The People Business Group. In 2007 within the Business Processing Outsourcing she was honoured by scooping the CEO award at the regional awards hosted by Intelleca on behalf of the Contact in Gauteng. This award focused on encouraging the SMME (Small Medium Micro Enterprises). Previously she was a Regional General Manager for Direct Sales Channels at South African Airways. The portfolio comprised of Call Centres, flysaa.com (SAA's website), City Ticketing Offices and the Airport Ticketing Offices where she led a team of 17 Managers and the 3 Executive Managers.
Prior to this she was an Executive Manager for SAA Global Call Centres. This entailed aligning Global Call Centre Operations based in the US Fort Lauderdale, UK London, SA Johannesburg and Durban together with the Voyager Call Centres. She joined South African Airways in 1995 as an Area Sales Manager responsible for corporate clients in Johannesburg. She further managed the Corporate sales team and was responsible for establishing and maintaining business with Corporate clients. In line with SAA strategy in 1999 she moved to head Alliance Sales, a role primarily focused on ensuring that synergy existed with the sales teams of the Alliance Partners.
Before joining SAA, she co-ordinated student affairs at Vaal Career College where she worked as a Student Counsellor and has also worked as a Social Worker for the Eastern Cape Government. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science Degree from Rhodes University, Honours Degree in Psychology from UNISA, a Post- Graduate Certificate in Management from Henley Management College and an Executive Development Programme from Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS).
She is the deputy chair of the board of BPeSA (Business Processes enabling South Africa) an industry body that promotes Business Process Outsourcing and Contact Centres, also chaired the board of Emmanuels Staffing.
She is married to Sifundile Koyana and they are blessed with 3 children.
Bulelwa has graduated from The People Business Leadership Coaching Academy and based on her business and coaching experience to date, she qualifies as a Senior Executive Personal and Leadership Coach.
